      #MarburnCon19 - Writing: From Research to Results (Day 2)

      Marburn Academy will host its third annual #MarburnCon event - a national conference about educating and supporting students who learn differently.

      This year’s topic, Writing: From Research to Results, will explore best practices for teaching writing to students who learn differently. Ideal attendees for #MarburnCon are school administrators, intervention specialists, K-12 teachers, reading specialists, school psychologists, and speech and language pathologists.

      Presentations for #MarburnCon19 include:
      - Before They Craft Their Stories: Writing in the Persuasive and Informational Genres
      - How Do I Find the Time? Assessing Writing Across Grade-Levels Using Evidence-Based Assessment Practices
      - The Sentence is a Lonely Place: Teaching the Deceptively Tricky Art of Composing Sentences
      - Using Neuropsychology to Guide Interventions for Children with Learning Challenges
      - Using Self-Regulated Strategy Development to Improve Students' Writing
      - Written Language in Children: What Have We Learned Thus Far and Its Translational Value for the Classroom Teacher
